Due to me working on all of the issues at once, it's taking even more longer due to happenings on the Plastic Beach game as well. i'm also incorporating those ideas in the strips to keep true to the Plastic Beach story too. it gave me the idea to make a new issue called Waiting For Aprilish. and yes, if you're wondering, all this was done traditionally by hand. and always will be. i'd do corel painter and all those goodie programs but unfortunately i don't have any. but i prefere doing stuff by hand personally. it saves electricity and money. it's hard to find someone who draws traditionally, so you are lucky to find me. for this particular comic strip scene, when you use a marker for comics, you have to keep inking and don't stop, otherwise you'll leave marks. kind of like glueing the ink together to have a clean, clear color shade. and when you are inking, stop at a certain point near an outlined marker, 'cause the color will continue to spread but still keep inking. the best markers to use are pantone and or prismacolors. i'm sure there are other professional markers that i don't know of but i only have these. anywayz, this issue gets hilarious, but for now enjoyz!
I admire you so much because of exactly what you said! Your one of the few who works with traditional, and it's a shame that not many people who have the talent prefer to work with digital media, sure digital may look with more life, but traditional, you can really feel and see what the artist went trough, it's not something you save on a file or print and make millions of copy out of it, traditional is just more authentic.
I really wish to be great with traditional like you, but I'm actually quite awful
